embry's was Founded in 1904, making it one of Kentucky's oldest
privately owned businesses. Located in Lexington's Lansdowne Shoppes,
embry's caters to its local patrons with upscale clothing such as
St. John Knits and a wide array of boutique furs from all over the
world. Upon entering the store, one will find rich tones of natural
Mink, bright sheared furs, delicious colors, textures and styles of fur
from Italy. You will find Mink, Sable, Fox, Chinchilla and, Shearling
from such designers as Michael Kors, Zandra Rhodes, Dennis Basso,
Oscar de la Renta and most recently, The House of Dereon by Beyonce and
Tina Knowles.
embry's also offers fur cleaning and storage, as well as
restyling, resizing, and repair of fur and leather meticulously done in
their own fur workroom, located in Lexington.
embry's is also the
parent company of
Koslow's in Oklahoma City, and
Miss Jackson's Fur
Salon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They also hold events in many stores across
